CCPS releases guidelines to Friday’s Hopkinsville vs. Christian Co. football game

Christian County will play host to Hopkinsville High School in a varsity football contest on September 1, 2023 at 7:00 PM. The game will be held at the Stadium of Champions. This game will also serve as the Alumni Game/Event for both schools.

Alumni Information

The alumni gate will be open at 5:00 PM. Christian County’s alumni entrance will be marked with balloons, and Hopkinsville will use the visitor’s side gate as their entrance. There will be a section of designated chairbacks reserved for alumni during the contest.

General Information:

General Admission gates will open at 6:00 PM.

Attendees must enter on the side they plan to sit. Crossing from one side of the stadium to the other is prohibited. No one will be allowed on the track area except for players, coaches, and school officials. Hopkinsville fans will enter through the visitor’s gate with their seating on the visitor’s side. Christian County fans will enter through the home gates with their seating on the home side.

Everyone in attendance including all students, fans, spectators, and media members will pass through a weapons detection system before entering the facility. There are no bags permitted on the premises. (exceptions may be made for small diaper or medical bags)

Students from both Hopkinsville and Christian County High School get in the game free with their Student ID at their respective gates.

Children younger than high school age must be accompanied by an adult who will remain with them during the event. If left unsupervised, students will be denied access to the facility and a parent will be called to pick them up.

Card reader machines will be available on-site at the gate to purchase tickets with a credit or debit card.
